Hyatt International has signed a definitive agreement with Verh-Isetskaya Investment Construction Company to operate a new Hyatt Regency hotel in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
The 300-room hotel is already under construction and will feature more than 2,400sq m (25,900sq ft) of conference and banqueting space, an 800sq m (8,600sq ft) ballroom, two restaurants, a lounge, a bar and a roof-top spa with three treatment rooms, a health and fitness centre and an indoor pool.
André Pury, senior vice president of Hyatt International, said: “We are delighted with Hyatt’s appointment to manage a hotel that holds great importance to Hyatt International’s development both globally and within Russia.”
The hotel will be the company’s second in Russia – after the Grand Hyatt Moscow – and is scheduled to open in 2008. Details: www.hyattinternational.com
