IAAPA acquires Asian Amusement Expo
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the trade body of amusement facilities worldwide, has taken ownership of the Asian Amusement Expo after acquiring the interests of Terrapinn and the American Amusement Machine Association (AMMA).
Terrapin will continue to manage the show on behalf of IAPPA and AMMA will continue to endorse the show, which is entering its twelfth year.
'The Asian amusement industry holds much promise and the AAE is a key component in our efforts to serve and help grow that industry,' said the association's president, Clark Robinson. 'We're committed to making the show even better with expanded education offerings and a targeted focus on the amusement and attractions segment.'
