IOC launches 2020 Games bidding process
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has unveiled the bidding process to find a host city for the 2020 Summer Games, which will follow Rio de Janeiro 2016 in Brazil.
National Olympic Committees are being invited to submit the name of a candidate city to the IOC by 1 September, with application documents required by 15 February 2012. The host of the 2020 Olympic Games will be announced on 7 September 2013 at the 125th IOC Session, which will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
