ISPA Europe board director elected

The International SPA Association (ISPA) have elected Mark Silver, owner and managing director of the Academy Spa Group of luxury day spas, as a board director of ISPA Europe.

Silver launched the first Academy Spa in 1994, which won UK Day Spa of the Year 2000, and has since expanded the brand to 14 outlets in the UK and Europe.

Representing more than 1,300 spa facilities in almost 50 countries, ISPA is committed to raising the awareness of the spa industry. It also elected Hans Peter Schroff, general manager of Rogner Hotel and Spa Lotus Therme, Hungary and Daniella Russell, director of health and leisure at the Cleopatra at the Pyramids Complex in Dubai.
