ISPA board has record Asia-Pacific representation
The International Spa Association’s (ISPA) membership has reached a record high of more than 3,000 spa professionals and, for the first time, 20 per cent of the members of ISPA’s Board of Directors are from the Asia-Pacific region.
The Asia-Pacific based members of the Board of Directors include Jesper Hougaard, managing director of Serena Spa, who is based in the Maldives and Peter Sng, who is a past recipient of the ISPA’s Dedicated Contributor Award and is the Singapore-based MD of Spacare International.
Singapore-based Manoj Murjani, the CEO of The Wellness Group Pte, has also joined the board.
ISPA chair Jim Root said: “In order to continue being a leader in the worldwide spa community, the members of the ISPA board know how essential it is to have diverse points of view from international voices.”
