The International Spa Association (ISPA) has launched a course by customer experience expert Dan Gingiss on its iLearn platform.

This course will be the first of three educational programmes to be launched in the next few months. The second course we’ll launch at the start of July will be by industry trainer, consultant and Retail expert Carol Phillips. The third course will be hosted by leadership researcher, author and speaker Zach Mercurio.

iLearn offers on-demand education, operational Training and professional development resources to help spa leaders stay ahead of emerging Trends. The new courses are a free for members.

Dan Gingiss’ Wiser Methodology

Gingiss will introduce spa professionals to his Wiser Methodology, which is a framework designed to help organisations create memorable guest experiences that encourage loyalty, referrals and repeat business.

The course has five 15-minute modules that show how to improve customer experience by using witty communication, offering immersive experiences, designing shareable campaigns, creating extraordinary moments and being responsive. There is also a bonus module about mastering customer feedback.

Lynne McNees, president, ISPA, said: “Guest expectations continue to evolve, making memorable experiences one of the most powerful competitive advantages a spa can have. We’re excited to bring Dan’s expertise to the ISPA Community through iLearn and provide members with actionable tools they can apply immediately.”
