Ian Dyson to join Punch in September
Punch Taverns' new chief executive, Ian Dyson, is to take up his role on 6 September.
The company said that the current chief executive, Giles Thorley, will stay with Punch "until an orderly handover has been completed". Dyson is currently the group finance and operations director at retailer Marks & Spencer, having previously held posts at the Rank Group, the Hilton Group, Granada/Forte and Arthur Andersen. Details of his pay package at Punch have yet to be revealed.
