Ice Palace set to be built in Canadian resort
The Ice Palace Hotel Group is set to open an ice hotel at Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia, Canada in December.
Constructed entirely from ice and snow, the luxury Ice Palace Hotel – which will boast themed guest rooms, function areas, an Ice Bar and a wedding chapel – will be reconstructed each winter and operate between April and December.
Steeve Croteau of the Ice Palace Hotel Group said the property was the firsdt ice hotel to be built at an existing resort and that it had been chosen because its transport links offering access to the leisure and corporate markets both domestically and internationally.
