The AALARA board of directors, Kim Hackwood and AALARA members would like to pass on their deepest sympathy to the family of Lorraine Short.

Mrs Short, the widow of the late Les Short, was a well known identity in the travelling show circuit to both show folk and the Show Societies. The family is one of the oldest in the amusement industry in Australia and for many years travelled the oldest Carousel in Australia, which they still own.

The funeral was held in Sydney on Monday 19 January.
