The owner of the Elégance Gontard International School in Nice, France, is to officially open its new spa training facility on 22 January.

Situated on rue Hotel des postes, the beauty training school’s launch will follow the close of the Monaco Spa Event, a trade exhibition and conference for the European spa industry which will begin on 20 January at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.

The inauguration of the new training space will include demonstrations from spa managers and practicioners, followed by a tour by Mr and Mrs Jean-Eric Knechy, partners in the school and part of its International Formation Team.

The Elégance Gontard aesthetic and cosmetic private school was established by Marcelle Gontard in 1969.

International students attending the school include professional estheticians and therapists from Japan, Russia, Greece, the US and Malaysia.

Elégance Gontard covers a wide selection of subjects and therapies such as reflexology, facials and massages alongside cosmetic application and other aesthetic practices.
