At our recent Conference and Trade Show we had a well attended session on Indoor Play industry owners and operators.

The session had interesting, informative and thought provoking topics, the speakers included Ken Smith from Megamania, an Indoor Play Centre at Warners Bay, who gave a talk on diversifying your income stream; and Tim Newman-Morris from the Lollipops Playland Franchise talked on training and a how to increase your profits.

Many questions were asked, with open honest answers given.

These men shared their knowledge and experience openly, again I would like to thank them for their contribution.

Greg O’Neill and myself convened the meeting and were both pleased with the content of the session.

The day followed with the Indoor Play delegates attending sessions on dealing with the Media in a Crisis and a back to basics, How to Write a Hazard and Risk Assessment.

The ME 051 Working Committee for Contained Soft Play for the Draft Standard has a meeting at the end of May, in Melbourne, the AALARA Indoor Play Sub Committee hope to meet in Sydney during June for an update.
