Indoor entertainment complex for Espoo
A new indoor entertainment leisure complex is to be built in the Perkkaa district in the Finnish city of Espoo.
Called Lifestyle Park, the development will be centred around Finland’s first indoor ski centre and facilities will include a spa, an entertainment zone, a multiplex cinema and a range of restaurants.
The project, which has been designed by Finnish development company Evata, has received initial planning permission from the city of Espoo.
A spokesperson for Evata said: “We are creating a multi-purpose and services complex. “The purpose is to develop a mixed-used scheme with a strong lifestyle and retail element.”
Construction work will take up to two years to complete and Evata hopes to begin work on the site during 2007. Details: www.evata.com
