Industry mourns passing of Michel Reverchon
It is with regret that we announce the death of Michel Reverchon of Reverchon Bumper Cars. Michel passed away on the 4th March and sadly his wife also passed away a few days after his death.
Since 1939, Reverchon has been responsible for revolutionary designs, inspiring ride designers worldwide.
In 1978, Reverchon launched the first bumper car pavillion that used a hydraulic system. This revolutionised bumper car pavillions that had previously taken a whole team of people to set up, and meant that this could instead be done by one person; this paved the way to the bumper car pavillions we see today.
The Reverchon empire is a widely known and respected brand in the industry and as such, for some, Michel's death will mark the end of a great era that saw huge developments in how rides were designed and engineered.
