Ingerslev hands over reins
Fitness DK has appointed 42-year-old Steen Keller as its new CEO.
Keller takes over from Rasmus Ingerslev, who at his own request steps down from the post, but will remain on the board.
Keller holds an MSc from Copenhagen Business School and has worked for IBM, Kinnarps A/S, Randstad A/S and the ISS Group, where he held a series of executive management positions.
”I am very pleased that we have attracted a highly qualified person such as Keller to our business, and I am confident that he, aided by the management team and the staff at our centres, will secure the sustained growth and profitability of Fitness DK.
Ingerslev has made a highly successful contribution to establishing fitness dk as Denmark’s no.1 fitness chain, and I have every respect for his wish to seek new challenges,” says Flemming Østergaard, chair of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S, the owner of Fitness DK.
Fitness DK’s 35 clubs now have more than 105,000 members – the first time a Danish chain has surpassed the 100,000-member mark.
