Interstate Hotels secures deal for 30 hotels
US-based Interstate Hotels & Resorts has secured a deal to manage 30 hotels owned by affiliates of Inland American Real Estate Trust.
The portfolio totals 4,060 rooms and the properties are located across 12 US states. The deal increases the number of hotels in Interstate’s managed estate to 337 properties with more than 62,000 rooms worldwide.
Thomas Hewitt, Interstate's chair and CEO, said: "This is our second major portfolio transition in the past 60 days.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts is a joint venture between Thayer Lodging and Jin Jiang.
