Scottish Leisure Trust, Inverclyde Leisure, has decided to implement an offering from Legend Club Management Systems to help improve customer experiences and bring operational efficiencies across 13 of its facilities.

Inverclyde Leisure, which operates sports and community facilities throughout Renfrewshire, is to install a system to give customers real-time access to a range of online services.

The new system will enable customers to make bookings for sports courses online or via a mobile bookings app, helping to reduce pressure on front of-house staff and alleviate queues.

“We have 1.3 million members and process around 6,000 direct debit mandates each month alone,” said Kieron Vango, Chief Executive, Inverclyde Leisure.

“Now customers will be able to manage their membership online, giving our staff more time to focus on customer care. Our aim is to reduce the volume of general enquiries to front-of-house, and to serve more customers through the online and kiosk solutions.

“Giving customers the option to book and pay online will make a huge difference. We anticipate significant improvements both in the customer experience and our own operational efficiencies.”

The system’s reporting software will also provide the Trust with real-time metrics to help inform decision-making and support the ongoing management of its facilities.

Come the summer, Inverclyde Leisure will also use Legend’s Powerhouse Energy management tool to target savings on utility bills, as well as its Facilities Management solution.
