Irish Heritage Trust review launched
Irish minister for arts, heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan, has announced the start of a review into the Irish Heritage Trust, which was established five years ago.
An Irish Heritage Trust Reviews Issues Paper has been published to enable stakeholders to contribute towards the process, in addition to members of the public. According to Deenihan, "it is important to recognise where the trust has succeeded in delivering on its mandate and to consider where the direction of the Trust should lie for the coming years in a dramatically changed economic environment."
The deadline for submissions is 5pm on 26 August.
