Italian group takes over at The Franklin
Townhouse Hotel Investments has sold The Franklin hotel in London’s Knightsbridge to Italian construction company Gruppo Imprese La Ficara (GILAF) for £13.5m.
The 47-room property is Rome-based GILAF’s first hotel acquisition and is part of the company’s strategy to create a chain of boutique hotels across European capital cities.
The Franklin, which is member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World chain, will be operated by hotel management group Paragon International.
