J P Morgan announces new arts investment
Investment bank J P Morgan has confirmed it will invest £600,000 as part of a collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery; the National Theatre; and the Southbank Centre.
The J P Morgan Signature Series will comprise a one-year programme supporting the work of the three arts organisations, while also organising activities for its clients and guests.
Culture secretary Jeremy Hunt said: "JP Morgan has done a huge amount to support the arts and remains a beacon for corporate philanthropy in the UK.
"The J.P. Morgan Signature Series provides a substantial injection of cash into some of our leading arts organisations."
