JCB signs for Stoke City FC
JCB's Groundhog utility vehicle been positively received at the training ground of Barclays Premier League club Stoke City.
The 6x4 vehicle comes with a top speed of 18 miles per hour and is fitted with turf tyres in order to protect the playing surface.
The vehicle is primarily used for the transportation of mannequins, cones, footballs and poles used by the side, as well as for grounds maintenance equipment.
During the winter months, the Groundhog will also be used to unfurl and move the club's 280kg of frost covers across the site.
The machine has a maximum payload of 500kg in addition to a towing capacity of 500kg.
