JJB plans Soccer Dome for North Shields
The Stadium Group has bought a 10-acre site at Royal Quays, North Shields, from AWG Developments in order to build a new Soccer Dome for JJB Sports.
The 100,000sq ft Soccer Dome, adjacent to the Royal Quays Designer Outlet, will include 11 indoor field turf pitches, a 25,000sq ft health and fitness club and a 15,000sq ft sports retail store.
There is also space available for complementary leisure and hospitality offerings,
The site was sold through agents, Christie & Co.
