JJB to build fifth Soccerdome
JJB Sports and Stadium Developments are to create the UK’s fifth Soccerdome on a 10-acre site at Royal Quays in North Shields.
The £10m, 165,000sq ft JJB Soccerdome will include 11 indoor six-a-side football pitches offering special access for the local community; a health and fitness centre and a retail store.
It will also offer a licensed bar and sports café, a coffee lounge and a standalone, 4,962sq ft restaurant.
The site was sold to AWG Developments, the commercial and property arm of AWG.
