JW Marriott opens new hotel in Ankara
Marriott International's luxury hotel brand, JW Marriott, has expanded into Turkey with the opening of a 413-room Ankara property under a management deal with Ozkar Insaat.
The 24-storey JW Marriott Ankara boasts the 3,430sq m (36,920sq ft) Karma Spa Wellness and Fitness - the property's signature spa and fitness offer. At the heart of the spa is an authentic Turkish Hammam, while its signature treatment is Kese - performed on a marble plinth and including an exfoliation treatment applied with silk kese.
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are also on offer as part of the Karma Spa Wellness and Fitness facility, along with a VIP spa area with private hammam. Elsewhere, there is a grand ballroom; extensive meeting space; and restaurant options such as JW Steakhouse; Fire and Flavors; and the Sky Vue Lounge and Terrace.
Amy McPherson, president and managing director for Marriott International in Europe, said: "As we continue to grow our portfolio throughout Europe, we are eager to add more JW Marriott Hotels in premier destinations and gateway cities such as Ankara."
