Jodie B to open in the West End
Ex-Eastenders star Danniella Westbrook plans to open Jodie B, a restaurant, bar and VIP lounge in London's West End this autumn.
If this first venue is a success, Westbrook and her husband Kevin Jenkins plan to create up to 12 venues across the UK in the next two years.
Design agency Kracka have been appointed to create the three storey venue. The ground floor will house a 130-cover restaurant, while on the first floor there will be an 80-cover bar and brassiere. A feature of the bar area will be a 4 x 6m fish tank with predator and salt water fish.
The lower ground floor will be dedicated to an 80-cover members' only VIP lounge with a stage for live music.
'The brand will be built around food excellence and the highest levels of service,' said Kevin Jenkins. 'Customers will quickly become known to the establishment and can be offered their preferred, personalised experience of the venue.'
