Johnson takes the chair at Channel 4
PizzaExpress founder and chair of Signature Restaurants, Luke Johnson, has been named as the new chair of Channel 4 television.
Johnson replaces Vanni Treves, the chair of Equtable Life, and has agreed a three-year contract.
He was appointed by Ofcom, which took over responsibility for filling the role from the Independent Television Commission.
Johnson’s Signature Restaurants group owns top London venues, The Ivy and Le Caprice.
