Jumeirah to manage Damascus hotel
The Dubai-based Jumeirah Group has signed with Souria Holding to manage Jumeirah Abraj Souria, a planned five star hotel development located in the Baramkeh area of Central Damascus, Syria.
Jumeirah Abraj Souria will be part of Abraj Souria, a 300,000sq m (3.2m sq ft) mixed use development also containing a shopping mall and an office tower. The development is expected to take 4-5 years to complete. The hotel will have 350 guestrooms and 100 serviced apartments, as well as a Talise Spa, several restaurants and extensive conference, banqueting and leisure facilities.
