Jurys Inn CEO resigns
Niall Geoghegan, chief executive of hotel chain Jurys Inn is expected to leave the company in the next few months.
The CEO is reportedly ready to pursue other challenges having been with the company for 15 years. The 23-strong hotel chain was acquired by Dublin-based property investment firm Quinlan Private in 2007. The director of hospitality and leisure at Quinlan, John Brennan, will replace Geoghegan as Interim CEO.
The company has 10 sites currently being developed and are expected to open 2009/10. There are also 48 in the pipeline due to open by 2012, including the group's first central european hotels – in Prague and Budapest.
