Jurys Inn brand to be sold?
Jurys Doyle Hotel Group, the Dublin-based company, has reportedly hired advisors to look at a possible sale of its Jurys Inn brand of three-star hotels.
According to The Times, the company appointed Merrill Lynch to consider a range of options for the 20-strong Jurys Inn brand, including splitting its underlying assets from the operating arm, but “an outright sale is understood to be the likeliest outcome”.
Jurys Doyle was taken private at the end of 2005 in a 1.6bn euro (£1bn) deal by a consortium led by the Doyle family.
