Kaiser to host arts fundraising seminars
Michael Kaiser, the man credited with restoring the fortunes of the American Ballet Theatre and London's Royal Opera House, is to hold six arts fundraising seminars across England.
The first three-hour seminar will take place in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on 31 May and will be organised by Arts Council England, with a view to driving up private support for the sector. Leeds; Manchester; Liverpool; Birmingham; and Bristol will also stage seminars by Kaiser, who was invited by culture minister Ed Vaizey to share his arts management expertise.
Kaiser said: "As private support for the arts is becoming more important, I am looking forward to coming to England to discuss fundraising techniques."
