Kew Green acquires airport hotel
Kew Green Hotels (KGH) has acquired the Marriott Hotel at John Lennon Airport in Liverpool.
The 164-room hotel, housed in an Art Deco-style former terminal building, will be rebranded as Crowne Plaza Liverpool John Lennon Airport hotel in August 2008.
The property will increase the number of hotels in KGH’s portfolio to 19. The group currently also has plans to open a hotel at London Gatwick airport in 2009.
