Kidderminster Harriers takeover falls through
Kidderminster Harriers Football Club (KHFC) has announced that a businessman poised to acquire the Blue Square Bet Premier club has withdrawn his offer.
The club's board of directors accepted Chris Swan's takeover bid and had anticipated that the purchase would be completed on 3 February. However, KHFC has since revealed that Swan has now pulled out of the deal as a result of being "unable to reconcile fundamental issues".
Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters Trust has now urged potential benefactors to come forward and help safeguard the future of the club.
