Kieser Training opens second UK site
Medical and preventative strength training concept, Kieser Training, has opened its second site in the UK.
The new venue in Fulham follows the company’s standard layout, being equipped with a minimum of 50 exercise machines and two medical machines. It also follows Kieser’s strict fit-out concept with a utilitarian, no-nonsense look to it.
"The British are picking up on the concept of a gym that isn't a gym - no pink lycra, Jacuzzis, saunas or thumping disco beats. Kieser Training is a calm, peaceful environment focused on building strength and thus avoiding pain," said a company spokesman.
The new site is part of the company's European rollout plans, which saw the opening of the first club in The Netherlands last month.
The company also plans to enter the Spanish market and is expected to select a site in the next few months. The spokesman added: “We want to establish a firm foothold in Europe and then move overseas."
The Fulham venue joins the company's first site, which opened in Mornington Crescent, north London, in 1999.
