King Alfred shortlist down to two
Brighton & Hove City Council (B&HCC) has announced it has decided not to continue with the bid by Countryside Properties and the Richard Rogers Partnership to redevelop the King Alfred site.
The project involves the construction of a £25m-£30m sports centre, plus a development of about 400 flats.
The authority will now continue discussions with the two other bidders, Barratt Southern Counties/Brunswick Development Group and Karis/ING and hopes to select the preferred scheme in June.
