King Kong heads for Belgium
Bobbejaanland theme park in Belgium is to be the first to install the new King Kong ride from HUSS Park Attractions.
The attraction features a single gondola with the capacity for 24 passengers, which is picked up and ‘shaken’ by Kong.
“King Kong adds a brand new dimension to our range of attractions,” said Wolfgang Richter, President of HUSS Park Attractions.
“For the first time we have added detailed theming and a full range of special effects as standard to one of our rides, working in co-operation with one of the industry’s most respected and creative specialist theming and animation companies, Heimo animated attractions Mordelt.
“This has allowed us to create something very special and very different, incorporating a concept based on a story known throughout the world. I am confident it will be great fun to ride and extremely popular with park owners and their guests.”
Bobbejaanland is installing the ride as part of a new zone which will also include a Splash Battle.
