Fairmont Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico, will host a three-day programme designed by Yogando Retreats and Knesko skincare between 24-26 October.

The retreat, Beauty and Energy Alignment: A Journey Within, blends skincare rituals with guided meditation, sound healing, movement sessions and workshops on energy healing and self-love.

Aimed at women seeking connection and transformative wellness experiences, guests will include those staying specifically for the retreat as well as existing hotel guests who want to join for a single day without committing to the full programme.

Guests will experience Knesko’s gemstone-infused treatments, including the exclusive Fairmont Knesko Crescent Moon body treatment. This 60-minute therapy involves the application of steam infused with medicinal herbs, followed by a vigorous massage with herbal alcohol and then a refreshing balm for tension release and relaxation. Outwith the retreat, the treatment costs US$249 (€230, £196).

Lejla Cas will lead a session on intuitive behaviours and Reiki.

Sunset ceremonies, Reiki and chakra balancing rituals will be led by Yogando Retreats, an Italian wellness event agency founded by Elisa Magni.

Pricing

The price of the retreat starts at US$3,454 (€3,188, £2,719) per person for single occupancy, and US$2,952 (€2,725, £2,322) per person for shared occupancy of a room with views of either the mangrove canals or the sea, plus three healthy meals per day.

For existing hotel guests, the one-day retreat pass will cost US$385 (€355, £303). This package includes a healthy lunch, morning yoga class, the Knesko Crescent Moon treatment, and a 90-minute temazcal (traditional Mexican sweat lodge) experience.

Fairmont Mayakoba

The 401-key Fairmont Mayakoba is a 45-acre property within a private community, surrounded by mangrove forest and water canals.

Its Fairmont Spa has 20 single treatment rooms and two couples’ suites. There is also a spa garden, rooftop vitality pool and a Vichy shower.

The property’s Mayan temazcal ceremony takes place in the spa's outdoor dome-shaped sweat lodge. The cleansing ritual involves a guided journey with steam, heat and herbs.
