Knight Valley to add wooden coaster
The Knight Valley theme park in Shenzen, China, will open a new wooden roller coaster later this year.
US-based Great Coasters International (CGI) has been chosen to design and build the 4,817 ft (1,468 m) wooden coaster, to be called Major Woody when it opens.
The ride will be GCI's largest single track coaster yet and will feature a 147 ft (44.8 m) lift and a wild 131 ft (40 m) triple-down first drop.
Beginning the ride with a castle fly-through, the ride also has an exciting station fly-through, a station fly-by, and 80 degrees of banking.
Guests will be carried around the track in two Millennium Flyer trains.
