Kosher gym for Jerusalem
A new gym has opened in Jerusalem, Israel, to offer religious men and women the opportunity to exercise separately from one another.
The Kosher Gym, located in the Givat Shaul neighbourhood of the capital, caters for men and women at different times of the day. It also closes for half an hour at noon to ensure that men and women don’t meet – not even outside it.
The gym aims to have a sense of community spirit, and has no in-club entertainment. It features a crèche and has resistance equipment supplied by Panatta.
