Kraftwerk's latest refurbishment
Markus Beyer, the managing director of Kraftwerk, has revealed more details about the refurbishment of an existing IMAX theatre in France for the Futuroscope theme park.
The park's theatre had four 25-seater motion platforms so Beyer designed a range of 4D seats and 4D effects to accompany a specialised ride version of Luc Besson's Arthur 2 movie. One of the effects, called Spiderweb, will ensure that people get very involved during the show as it simulates a spider striking the face of guests.
Arthur 4D has now become a completely new themed attraction, but almost everything that was in the main show before, besides the media, was reused.
