Kravitz wins fitness educator award
The American Council on Exercise (ACE) has awarded the title of Fitness Educator of the Year to Len Kravitz PhD, associate professor of exercise science at the University of New Mexico.
Kravitz teaches exercise science at the university and lectures on many topics related to exercise, fitness and nutrition. He has also directed numerous research projects, including physiological responses to upper and lower body exercise and the benefits of aquatic exercise.
The ACE also presented awards for personal trainer and group fitness instructor of the year. Each winner received a US$2,500 (£1,350) scholarship towards continuing education.
