Digital wellness platform Mindbody has announced that actress and entrepreneur Kristen Bell will deliver a keynote speech at the 2019 edition of its Bold conference.

Alongside her 27-year acting career, which includes lead roles in Frozen, The Good Place and Veronica Mars, Bell is the co-founder of two businesses: This Bar Saves Lives and Hello Bello. A granola company that helps prevent malnutrition, This Bar Saves Lives donates nutrition packets to children in Haiti, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia for every bar sold. Since it's inception in 2013 the company has donated more than 10 million packets, while Hello Bello, which Bell launched with her husband, actor and podcaster Dax Shepard, is a plant-based baby care brand offering environmentally-friendly and affordable baby products.

The Bold conference billed as a 'premier event for business owners and professionals' in the wellness, fitness and beauty industries, will take place over the course of three days, between 13 and 15 August at the Marriott Anaheim in California. It offers educational sessions on a broad range of topics such as marketing, social media and customer retention, as well as a wide range of networking opportunities and wellness experiences.

Rick Stollmeyer, CEO & co-founder of Mindbody, said: "Through her infectious online presence and wellness-inspired ventures, Kristen empowers millions to improve their bodies, minds and souls. It's an honour to welcome her into the dynamic group of Bold keynote speakers, which have included Michelle Obama, Billie Jean King, Arianna Huffington, Magic Johnson and Deepak Chopra."

"Kristen's entrepreneurial spirit mirrors that of our local business owners dedicated to helping people lead healthier, happier lives. She is motivated by the same purpose that drives us all - spreading wellness throughout the world," Stollmeyer added.
