Wellness industry technology platform Mindbody has appointed Phil Coxon as managing director of Mindbody Europe.

The company said Coxon’s role will see him take the lead on managing all aspects of the company’s growth across the UK and within Europe, delivering best-in-class product support to help Mindbody customers reach their potential.

Prior to joining Mindbody, Coxon was chief revenue officer at MotorK, a software company for the automotive sector, helping them scale across Europe. Prior to this, he worked at Criteo, a global leader in commerce marketing, looking after global sales strategy as the company grew its revenue from US$50m to US$2.3bn.

Mindbody’s previous european managing director, Kevin Teague, has now taken on the position of head of strategic accounts, relocating to the company’s head office in California. In his new role, Teague will take the lead on securing and growing large-scale customers, to drive revenue across the company.

“I’ve worked in the software industry across various roles, but I have never felt as connected to a company like I do Mindbody,” said Coxon. “I’m excited to be joining at such an exciting time in the company’s growth, and look forward to expanding Mindbody’s strategy across Europe. I believe in purpose-driven business, which is why the values and ethos as a company really resonated with me, and I’m humbled to be joining a company that truly cares about its staff and customers, and its mission to make people’s lives happier and healthier.”
