The lodge is undergoing renovations, including enlargements of the suites, with designs from Johannesburg-based FoxBrowne Creative.
The spa has partnered with eco-friendly skincare brand africology “to produce a truly authentic African spa experience for the mind, body and soul,” the company said. Treatments will include a range of body massages, a scalp and leg massage and a stone massage for children.
The gym will include a treadmill, Wattbike spinning bike and ski/step trainer, as well as a set of light weights and kettlebells. Renovations will also include the addition of a swimming pool.
The Safari Lodge features 21 cottages overlooking a private waterhole frequented by wildlife.
