LA Fitness announces board changes
LA Fitness has changed the balance of executive and non-executive directors on the company’s main board.
David Turner, one of the original founders of the company, has agreed to remain on the board as a non-executive director, after stepping down as strategic development director.
Jeremy Taylor is to step down as operations director but will retain his position on the operating board.
CEO Fred Turok said the changes have been made in the interest of effective management during its next stage of development.
The main board of the company now consists of two executive directors – Turok and finance director Richard Taylor – and four non-executive directors.
