L’Auberge Del Mar revamp
An extensive US$25m (16.9m euro, £12.1m) renovation has begun at the Southern Californian L’Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa in the US.
The revamp will include a new 4,100sq ft (380sq m) luxury spa, to be located outside the south wing of the hotel.
The Del Mar Spa will be open to the public as well as hotel guests and will include a complimentary wine and juice bar as well as a number of treatment rooms and a manicure and pedicure area.
L’Auberge Del Mar – which is managed by the Destination Hotels & Resorts group – is currently scheduled to reopen in June 2008.
