LC appoints new waterpark manager
Swansea's LC leisure complex has confirmed the appointment of Rachel Tobin - area manager of the Afan Lido in Port Talbot - as its new waterpark manager.
Tobin has worked within the leisure industry for the past 12 years, having been responsible for the running of wet and dry facilities at the Afan Lido before it was severely damaged by fire in 2009. "The loss of the Afan Lido was a very sad event and a huge loss to the communities within Port Talbot. I am thoroughly looking forward to being part of the LC team as we continue to build our excellent leisure facility," said Tobin.
"I am sure that my time at the LC will be rewarding and I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to the development of the team and to the complex as a whole." LC chief executive Richard Proctor added: ""Rachel's experience in the leisure industry is extensive and as a result we felt that she would be a superb addition to the Waterpark operations at the LC."
