LCI completes Les Ambassadeurs sale and predicts flat full year results
Casino operator London Clubs International (LCI) has reported that the sale of Les Ambassadeurs completed on 31 March and that proceeds have been used to repay existing debt.
New bank facilities of £81.7m have also now been put in place.
Despite a fall in business at Les Ambassadeurs last year hitting the company’s profits, growth at the rest of the group’s casinos – in particular the Rendezvous and its properties in South Africa and Egypt – mean LCI expects to report full year results in line with the previous year.
The company is currently planning to develop a 40,000sq ft (3,700sq m) venue for Leicester Square which will boast a casino, restaurants and bars.
