LFR completes equity fundraising
The Loch Fyne Restaurant (LFR) group has completed a £6m equity fundraising to finance the rollout of chef Raymond Blanc’s Blanc Brasseries’ concept.
Core Growth Capital – a former investor in LFR – has invested £3m of the necessary funds, while a further £3m was raised through private individuals, alongside Venture Capital Trusts.
KBC Peel Hunt assisted Blanc Brasseries in the fundraising.
The number of Blanc Brasserie outlets will grow from five to 20 by 2009, with sites following a design similar to the existing Birmingham Le Petit Blanc property. Details: www.lepetitblanc.co.uk
