LGV sells The Club Company for £96m
Legal & General Ventures (LGV) has announced the £96m sale of The Club Company to private investment group Boundary.
The deal comes just over two years after LGV acquired The Club Company for £57m in a public-to-private transaction. Since then, it has helped grow the business with new health and fitness clubhouse developments at Chartham Park, The Warwickshire and Benton Hall.
The Club Company operates 11 golf and country clubs across England, offering golf courses, gyms, pools and spas.
Thierry Delsol, managing director of The Club Company, said: “Based on the solid foundations we have established under the period of LGV’s ownership, we are looking forward to continuing to develop our business with Boundary in the long term.”
