As a result of a partnership with LIVESTRONG®, Johnson Health Tech North America (JHTNA) has unveiled the LIVESTRONG® by Matrix range of cardio kit.

Endorsed by cancer survivor and seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, the LIVESTRONG® by Matrix cardio line has been developed specifically for the light commercial market. It includes two treadmills, an elliptical trainer, and both a recumbent and upright bike. It also features two indoor cycles.

The collection will be manufactured by the Indoorcycling Group and distributed by Johnson Health Tech North America, under its commercial brand, Matrix Fitness.

Speaking about the new range, Kent Stevens, executive vice president, Matrix Fitness sales, explained: "The partnership between JHTNA and LIVESTRONG® has allowed us to harness the shared belief that everyone can make a difference in the fight against cancer by leading an active lifestyle. We're proud to offer the tools fundamental for supporting health and fitness while at the same time supporting such a tremendous movement."

Debuted at IHRSA, it was the highlight for many attendees, including Kevin Yates, head of commercial development at Leisure Connection, who said: "The highlight of IHRSA had to be the new LIVESTRONG® Indoor Cycling bikes by Matrix in association with Lance Armstrong and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. This isn't just a new studio bike: it's a marketing and PR campaign and an opportunity that can be implemented at club level to interact with, and appeal to, members and would-be members. It's emotive, it's inspirational - it's fantastic."
