Ladbrokes terminates 888 Holdings discussions
Ladbrokes has announced that discussions with online gaming operator 888 Holdings over a possible takeover bid have been terminated.
In December, the UK-based bookmaker confirmed media reports it had entered into "very preliminary discussions" regarding a potential offer for the 888 business. However, a spokesperson for Ladbrokes said on 15 April: "Ladbrokes announces that these discussions have been terminated."
